Ascentia can provide selection reports to support and refine the hiring process. The reports are based on the competency models identified for the role. They identify the strengths and potential gaps and include a behaviourally based interview guide with specific probes where a persons ratings may fall out of the desired range.
The Competency Modeling process leads to a custom ASSESS Selection Report that is mapped to the competency model. The custom ASSESS Selection Report presents the candidate’s strengths and potential weaknesses for each of the measured competencies to determine job fit, performance potential, and management needs.
Reports include detailed results, interview and reference probe suggestions, as well as management suggestions.
Excerpts from the report are shown here and a full sample report (
PDF Format - 560kb).

The ASSESS system includes a selection resource site. The Manager’s Resource Site, shown here, enables managers to view information on the selection process, ASSESS, and general interviewing techniques. In addition, the site includes a Development menu that allows managers to obtain information and advice on developing employees. This can be tailored to your companies development suggestions.

The Graphic Profile is a snapshot of a candidate's ASSESS results.

The profile is a "snapshot" that will allow you to see large differences from one dimension to the next.
Unlike intellectual ability measures, higher scores on personality measures are not necessarily better.
Following the initial screening, hiring managers will have access to a comprehensive competency-based selection report and detailed interview guide. This approach maximises utility of the assessment by screening out candidates who are clearly a poor fit for the job, allowing hiring managers to focus their attention on candidates with the highest probability of success.
