Ascentia trainers coaches are skilled trainers and experienced coaches having many thousands of hours coaching and training experience.
They also have significant high-level practical business experience. The experience includes holding positions as CEOs, Directors with functional expertise and senior management. Our trainer coaches will either have achieved significant business success through running their own businesses, or through operating at senior level in multinational companies.
Their extensive practical experience is underpinned by all holding Masters Degrees in fields of coaching. The Ascentia coach trainers have an ongoing commitment to continued study to develop the field of coaching and deliver cutting edge approaches.

Ascentia have been delivering Coaching Skills Training for leaders and coaching-related programmes since 2006 and more than 600 managers and leaders have attended our programmes. The two day highly experiential workshop also includes post-workshop telephone coaching, pre-programme reading and DVD, a dedicated post workshop resource section on the Ascentia website and the option to include provision of course material via touch pad and access to an on-line learning site with coaching resources, videos, avatars for multiple learning preferences.
Ascentia have designed and delivered a number of leadership development training workshops, including a development programme focused on developing leadership capability within a Higher Education onrganisation. The project included involvement in a range of relevant activities and discussions enabled leaders to practice the critical leadership capabilities and gain feedback (including 360 feedback).
Ascentia designed and delivered a programme supporting a pharmaceutical client whose sales teams were facing the challenges presented by the changing structure of the NHS. The course included introducing new ways of working in a matrix environment, moving from line management to influencing without authority. The brief included training internal and external trainers to deliver the programme across Western Europe and Canada.
We designed and facilitated a series of half day events that supported two cross-functional teams as they worked on critical business projects that culminated in a range of practical recommendations for implementation. A group coaching approach over five months ensured that the teams were clear about their purpose, measures of success and action that they needed to take as a team and as individuals. A continual review of team progress identified additional skills training that was needed, such as influencing skills, and this was incorporated into the monthly workshops.
Three Ascentia coaches worked with separate client functional leadership teams to support them in identifying and implementing changes needed in their ways of working (both as a team and with their stakeholders) in order to manage the challenges faced by a radically changing environment. The workshops focused on building the coaching capability of managers, enabling them to change their approach to working with their direct reports and colleagues, applying coaching in both a formal and informal way.
Ascentia designed and delivered a 12-month six-module Management Development programme for a client organisation. The overall aim was to inspire their managers, demonstrate the values, partner the organisation and link and build on each module. Ascentia provided the capabilities requested plus outstanding project management and the ability to deliver a focused coaching programme for each leader attending As a result of the measurable benefits, the client commissioned Ascentia to deliver the programme for three subsequent years and we also went on to deliver assessment centres, team days and talent development workshops.
